At Healing Hands Massage, conveniently located in the Southside of Jacksonville, Florida, we offer a wide range of massage services. Owner, Tony Hanneken, LMT, has over 10 years experience in the massage industry specializing in deep tissue and other therapeutic techniques.

Each massage is tailored to the individual needs of the client. We accomplish this by asking the client to complete a short medical history questionnaire which is reviewed by the massage therapist. Some benefits of massage therapy are immediate. Even after just one massage, you will feel more relaxed with a general sense of well being. You may notice a significant reduction in neck and shoulder pain, back aches and headaches. Stress is significantly reduced. However, these effects are only temporary if you only get a massage once or twice a year.

Massage generally falls in the category of preventative medicine, however many clients wait until a problem is somewhat unbearable before they seek help. The massage therapist provides assistance so the client may return to a state of health but the key is to then maintain that state of health with regular massage. Often times, neuromuscular therapy is used in sports massage and can release tight muscles and painful trigger points in the muscle. Together, these techniques help the muscles recover quicker, stay healthy and more resilient to injury.
